The Petticoat Dress is one of those clever layering pieces that brings your whole wardrobe together. Light, floaty and beautifully relaxed, it's designed to be worn over or under your favourite TCD pieces, adding a little extra length, texture and movement to your look.

I took mine to the Chatham Islands and goodness, did she earn her place in my suitcase! It became my go-to piece, so comfortable to wear and wonderfully easy to style.

The straight-through shape gently skims over the tummy and hips without clinging, while the gorgeous ruffle sits below the bum, creating a lovely lengthening effect. Made from a beautiful linen-viscose blend, the Petticoat has a soft, flowing drape that catches the breeze as you move, adding that gorgeous little bit of movement we love.

Wear her as a dress with your favourite base layer underneath, or let the ruffle peek out from beneath your tunics, tops and dresses. It's one of those pieces that makes everything else in your wardrobe a little more interesting.
